Barney Wickard served on the Council from 1957 to 1963 and from 1995 to 1999 as Council member. In November of 1999 he was appointed as Mayor to fill the vacancy of Mayor created by the resignation of Mayor Scott Corr. He has served as Mayor for the City of Minatare for two terms.

Steve Manka was elected to the Council in 1996 and is presently serving his fourth term.

Cheryl Spencer was elected to the Council in 2000 and will be finishing her second term in December 2008.

Jerry Harms was appointed to fill the remaining term of Andrea Brunton whose seat was vacated in July 2003. Jerry was sworn into office September 2003.

Marcella Kreiling was elected to office in 2002 and is serving her second term.
